Teen Discipline
Teen Discipline
Recognizing what is normal teenage behavior and what is not is the first step in keeping enough perspective to manage it without freaking out excessively. (Some freaking out is unavoidable in these tumultuous teen years.) Then, setting appropriate limits and boundaries is key. Just because a behavior is "normal" doesn't mean it should be embraced or even excused. Some things can and should be negotiable. Others, not so much.
Sorting it all out can be hard to do on your own. Our writers offer perspectives parents of teens can add to their toolbags.
