Oral History
Everyone has a story about their life that is unique to them. This is true of countless generations whose testimonies permeate time. This is oral history - the accounts of ordinary people in everyday situations. Oral history brings to life the experiences of people whose stories are not told by history books. In modern times, oral history is a powerful means of recording, through audio and video, the unique memories and life experiences of people whose stories might otherwise have been lost. Few historians or researchers can now afford to neglect the insights that oral sources provide.
Oral history is timeless. Since early mankind, stories have been told and passed down until the story becomes legend.
