Modern US History
Beginning after Reconstruction in 1877, Modern U.S. History focuses on Industrialization, the Progressive Era, World War I, the inter-war years including the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, FDR's New Deal, and the coming of World War II. Readers will understand the causes and the course of the Cold War, 1950's conformity,Civil Rights, movements of reaction, Vietnam, and Watergate. Modern U.S. History includes discussions on 9/11 and the war on terror, focusing on how the American nation changed since 1877.
