Hong Kong Travel
Little has changed in Hong Kong since the reunification, the only visible sign being the influx of snap-happy tourists from the 'motherland'. Office blocks, banks, businesses, all are thriving on the island, a great money-making machine running at full speed.
But this is only part of the picture. Across the harbour, Kowloon is Chinese through and through, colourful temples, dragons, street stalls, rural lands in the New Territories are dotted with walled villages, and out at sea, you find over 200 outlying islands, some deserted, others inhabited. So there's more to Hong Kong than business, shopping and eating. Enjoy a cruise away from it all, trek in the hills or along the coast and discover peaceful nature reserves and breath-taking scenery.
