British Guiana is a country with little infrastructure but lots of nature. The best (and safest) way to visit the country is to book a tour (in Georgetown or on the Internet).
Among British Guiana's popular tourist destinations are:
- Kaieteur National Park. The Kaieteur Falls are considered among the most beautiful in South America.
- Iwokrama Rain Forest to hike the trails, or to visit an Amerindian village.
