Foster Parenting
Foster Parenting
The unique role of foster families is crucial to the healthy development of a foster child. To make a difference in the life a child, foster parents need to learn to be advocates, as well as understand the impact of the child's history on development and attachment.
In addition to helping foster children transition to their birth and adoptive families, it is important to celebrate foster children, while at the same time foster parents need to find support for both the rewards and challenges of this special kind of parenting.
