Bulimia
Bulimia is an eating disorder that typically emerges in late adolescence or early adulthood. Unlike anorexia nervosa patients, who are typically underweight, bulimia sufferers are generally an average weight or slightly overweight.
individuals who suffer from bulimia typically exhibit a pattern of binging and purging; they eat a large amount of food and then intentionally vomit to prevent the absorption of calories and fat. In addition, many individuals with bulimia may also abuse laxatives.
